Circular Pattern III A moiré pattern is the combination of two or more patterns viewed in layers. The word Moiré was first used by weavers and comes from the word mohair, a kind of cloth made from the fine hair of an Angora goat. This demonstation will produce a moiré of light rosettes and dark, radiating spikes. To produce the moiré drag the top pattern slightly with your mouse; a slight movement makes a big difference.
