Banana Cards The two cards are exactly the same size and shape yet the card on the left looks bigger. Drag the right-hand card over the other card, and see if they really are the same size. Now drag the card all the way to the opposite side. This illusion is so strong that the moving card seems to grow as it goes! Each card
has a gentle curve on one side, and a sharp curve on the other. When
the cards are placed side-by-side, a sharp curve always faces a gentle
curve. We cannot help but judge the card sizes by comparing these 2
very different curves. A gentle curve always looks bigger near a sharp
